will drew brees be able to pick apart indys' secondary?
Bucky Brooks, NFL.com
The key to Brees being able to pick apart the secondary is whether the protection can hold up, up front. Their ability to block the Colts pass rush is critical for him to take shots down the field. If he gets time, he should be able to pick apart a young Colts secondary. -

There seems to be a huge difference in perception between Manning and Brees, but when you look at it, in the last 3 years, they basically have the same passing stats(122 TD's each, around 70% completion, etc..). The one difference is that Manning had a better defense over that same time period. Agree or disagree?
Bucky Brooks, NFL.com
I would agree. Both have played at a high level the last three seasons. Brees has been excellent since coming over from San Diego. Because he's been able to do it with guys who are relatively unknown, they don't have a lot of stars at the skills positions, has been special. Brees is very accurate. -

Hey Bucky. Calling you from the site of Super Bowl weekend. We're all having fun down here. Just wondering what your take is on the outcome of the game. Will it be a close one, high scoring, low scoring, what's your take? Thanks.
Bucky Brooks, NFL.com
Hi Joe. I think it will be in the middle. I think both defenses are better than people give them credit for. I think it's a game that will be decided on turnovers. I think the Colts are the favorite, and I see them winning 27-17. -

Hey Bucky, If Manning wins another superbowl, will he be the best of all time?
Bucky Brooks, NFL.com
I think he will win, but I dont' think he'll be the best of all-time. I still think that Joe Montana is at the top in that category. I think he's definitely pushed himself into the conversation, but two Super Bowl wins wouldn't be enough to be the best of all-time. -

Hey Bucky, I know everyone I've talked to is writing off the Saints already and saying the game will be over in 35 minutes. I would say the Saints have as more balanced attack than the colts, and that the colts defense might have trouble stopping pierre thomas and reggie bush. What's your take?
Bucky Brooks, NFL.com
I would agree. I think the Saints are more balanced, and their run game could give the Colts trouble, if Thomas, Bush and Bell can get going early in the game. The problem is that I don't know if the Saints defense can do enough to keep the Colts in-check. I'm under the impression the Saints will be playing from behind during the game. -

Who do you think is the best defensive coordinator available currently. Then the more realistic question who do you think the Bills may end up with? Thanks i appreciate it Bucky.
Bucky Brooks, NFL.com
One guy that comes to mind is Chuck Bresnahan, the former defensive coordinator of the Raiders and Bengals. This past season he worked with Jim Haslett in the UFL, but he's had a lot of success in the NFL. He has a system that would fit the personnel the Bills currently have in place. -

Do you believe Reggie Bush has lived up to expectations in the NFL?
Bucky Brooks, NFL.com
I don't think Bush could ever live up to the expectations of being the No. 2 pick in the draft. Where he was picked, he was expected to be a prolific playmaker. But, he hasn't done it on a consistent basis throughout his career. -

What are the Patriots looking to do this offseason?
Bucky Brooks, NFL.com
They have to continue to re-build their defense. They also need a dominant pass-rusher, and they could still use an impact corner. Offensively, they need to find another young WR to go with Moss and Welker, because both guys are getting older and Welker is coming off the injury. That's what the Patriots should be looking to do. -

howya doing Bucky? I was wondering what you think the Browns will do about their Q.B. situation. Do you think they go with Quinn, Anderson, or go find a future Q.B. in either the draft or trade?
Bucky Brooks, NFL.com
I think the Browns are disappointed in the QB situation. Both have shown potential at times, but neither has seized control of the opportunity. I would think that Eric Mangini would open the competition up again and hope one emerges at the starter. I think they can look to take a QB in the draft, but of all the QBs entering the league this year, there's not a clear-cut franchise player. -

Which QB would you rather have if you were down 2 touchdowns in the 4th quarter? Peyton Manning or Drew Brees?
Bucky Brooks, NFL.com
That's easy. Manning. He's shown time and time again he can drive a team the length of the field with the game on the line. -

My man! What players do you see my Bronco's targeting in the draft?
Bucky Brooks, NFL.com
One position the Broncos will likely target is wide receivers. They'll probably trade Brandon Marshall in the offseason, and it's very possible they would take a receiver early. I could see them taking Dez Bryant at No. 12. -

I'm a huge Dolphins fan, do you think they can get to the big game in the next 2-3 years?
Bucky Brooks, NFL.com
I think the Dolphins' future is bright. But they need to fix some of the troubling aspects of their team. They lack a No. 1 receiver, and they must get a better effort from their defense next season. -

How do you feel the Bills will answer their quarterback needs? The draft or a free agent?
Bucky Brooks, NFL.com
With Chan Gailey coming in, I think first he'll look at his own roster to see if any of the guys have the skills to succeed in his system. If not, I expect them to look at free agency for an underrated QB who will fit the system that he's putting in. You could say Michael Vick is an interesting option, given Gailey's experience developing Kordell Stewart. -

Hi Mr. Brooks, I wanted your take on the 49ers draft possibilities as we have two picks and primed to take over the NFC West especially after Warner's retirement. Two OLs, ROT and S, or ROT and BPA. Thanks!
Bucky Brooks, NFL.com
I think you're right on point with your observation. I expect the 49ers to look at right tackle, safety or a defensive linement with those two first round picks. Their needs there are pretty obvious. -

Who will rise up next season and go to the SuperBowl?
Bucky Brooks, NFL.com
Hi Taylor. I'll tell you what, teams to watch next season are the 49ers, Falcons, Titans and Texans. -

will the eagles take vick for another season or use his draft value to pick up a position that they need?
Bucky Brooks, NFL.com
I think they'll eventually trade him. There appears to be a lot of interest, and I think they'll try to leverage that into the best possible deal -- which is likely additional draft picks. -

No love for the Packers possibility of making it to the Super Bowl?
Bucky Brooks, NFL.com
The Packers are always a possibility, but I don't know if they can get the same kind of performances form their veterans, like Charles Woodson and Donald Driver. They also have to figure out what to do with Aaron Kampman. He struggled as an OLB in their 3-4 scheme, so they have to decide if he's a good fit. -
Bucky Brooks, NFL.com
OK everyone, unfortunately I'm out of time. Appreciate all the questions. I'll be back here to chat again soon. Enjoy the Super Bowl!
