Hey Mike. Huge Rams fan here. You know Bulger real well with your time with him during some of his best seasons. I was wondering if you think he can ever get back to his Pro Bowl form or even Average QB. After the lose of Ike and Torry it may be hard but i want to know if you think he can get back to some Mad Mike Football
Mike Martz, NFL Network
Aboslutely he can. What will affect him more than anything, as it does all QBs, is the status of the offensive line. If you have an acceptional offensive line, and average WRs a QB can still excel. The other way around is difficult. Everything begins and ends in the offensive line. -

Mike you are one to know of great offenses, so which offense will be the best this coming season?
Mike Martz, NFL Network
It's a toss up between San Siego and New England. I'm sure ultimately you'd have to consider Philadelphia. -

Coach, which offense would you rather field, the 2001 Rams or the 2007 patriots?
Mike Martz, NFL Network
2001 Rams. In my mind, even though it didn't end up like we wanted, there was so much fire power with that group. -

Coach Martz, what are some of your favorite Trent Green memories?
Mike Martz, NFL Network
There are so many of them. My favorite however is the San Diego game of 2000 when we got way out on san diego. He came in and on the third play threw a 60-yard TD to Marshall. -

Who was your favorite player you have ever coached?
Mike Martz, NFL Network
Why don't you ask me who my favorite child is? That's impossible to answer. Marshall, Trent, Torry, Issac, Jon Kitna and Aneus Williams are some that come to mind. -

Hi Mike. As an offensive coordinator in the NFL, what are your thoughts on the future of offenses, specifically how much will teams adopt the spread offense since most college players are now coming from that system? Would teams favoring the run use it more often? It's not very hard to find speed in the NFL, and the Pats used it well even without running the ball alot.
Mike Martz, NFL Network
I think fopr the NFL the spread has some real limitations. I think it has its place as a change up and that's just about it. -

How would you transform Vince Young into a starting quarterback in the NFL? And how much time would you need? Thanks
Mike Martz, NFL Network
He's still a work in progress. I think it takes for or five years for a QB to mature. -

Hello Mike, I personally liked the approach you had with the lions offense. I just believed they really didnt have enough talent for it. Now that they have, in my opinion, better players, how well do you think they will do this coming year? maybe close to the playoffs? thanks.
Mike Martz, NFL Network
They're not close to the playoffs. There are still so many issues to be addressed on defense. -

Whats next for coach Martz? Have you ever considered coaching in the college ranks again. As high powered off an offense the Big 12 was last season.
Mike Martz, NFL Network
I'm a football coach and that's my passion. At this point, college or the NFL appeals to me. -

6:15 PM ET
Mr. Martz what quarterback who you haven't worked with in the league would you most like to?
Mike Martz, NFL Network
Tom Brady. I think he is so unusual and gifted in so many ways. It would be fun to have the opportunity to coach him. -
Michael, Dublin, Ireland
6:16 PM ET
What is your proudest moment from your career in football?
Mike Martz, NFL Network
Proudest moment for me was when they stopped practice during my fifth season as a head coach and Marshall presented a number 50 jersey that the whole team signed. That was to comemorate acheiving 50 wins in five years as a head coach. -

6:18 PM ET
You say a QB takes 5 years to mature, do you think they are worth the amount of money they get paid after the draft then?
Mike Martz, NFL Network
I don't know. It's hard for me to think about paying somebody all that money when he hasn't done anything yet. I think rookies need to have a 2-3 year pay scale with incentives. -

6:19 PM ET
what is your surprise team going into this season?
Mike Martz, NFL Network
Chicago Bears. Cutler will make a huge impact on that team. They're actively rebuiilding the offensive line and thery're quietly positioning themselves to make a run at it. -
Rhodri Jones, Tredegar, Wales
6:21 PM ET
Hi Coach Martz. Is there a running back in the league today that reminds you of Marshall Faulk in any way ? Thanks.
Mike Martz, NFL Network
There are some things in Brian Westbrook that are reminiscent of Marshall. His elusiveness and acceleration in particular. -

Jaguars fans are very excited about Torry Holt's arrival on their roster. With a stronger O-line this season in Jacksonville, do you think its reasonable for Torry to rack up 800-900 yards?
Mike Martz, NFL Network
Very reasonable. They've got one of the all-time great NFL receivers. -
Josh, NB
6:24 PM ET
Hey Mike! I was wondering, what is your Superbowl prediction?
Mike Martz, NFL Network
Baltimore Ravens and the Philadelphia Eagles. -

6:25 PM ET
Which player in the draft this year would you most like to coach?
Mike Martz, NFL Network
I was playing golf during the draft. -
Peter, ireland
6:26 PM ET
Hey Mike, do you think Brett Favre can still play in the NFL? Would you be happy with him as your quarterback?
Mike Martz, NFL Network
I think he has a year or two left, only if he is completely healthy. -
Mike, Cincinnati
6:26 PM ET
Mike, Please answer my question, how do you see the 09 Cincinnati Bengals doing?
Mike Martz, NFL Network
I think if they get better on defense they'll be a factor in that division. -
Michael, Dublin, Ireland
6:27 PM ET
What is the toughest D you've ever gone up against?
Mike Martz, NFL Network
That's easy. The Tampa Bay defense in the NFC Championship game. They could dominate anybody up front. -
Daniel, Oakville,Canada
6:28 PM ET
Do you think mike vick deserve another chance? with whom? and do you think he could become a pro bowl quarterback again?
Mike Martz, NFL Network
I think we all deserve a second chance. I think he could be an interesting player, not neccesarily just a quarterback. -
Steve, Los Angeles
6:30 PM ET
35+ year Rams fan here, and you are my favorite Rams HC. So sad to see you go, especially to the Niners. Can' wait to see you back in the league. Who was the biggest coaching influence on you offensively? And, how successful do you think the Rams can be this season with a new staff and new schemes on both sides of the ball?
Mike Martz, NFL Network
Ernie Zampese. I worked under him from '92-94 with the Rams when he was the offensive coordinatoer there. I think the St. Louis Rams will be the surprise team in the NFL this year. -
Tad, St. Louis
6:33 PM ET
In your opnion, who is the best wide reciever in the NFL today?
Mike Martz, NFL Network
Well it's been established statistically, Isaac Bruce. Next question. -
Sean T, Arlington TX
6:35 PM ET
Hey Coach Martz, Since coaching the 49ers last year...Just how good of a TE can Vernon Davis be? Is this a guy that is capable of catching 80 passes and 8 tds in a season, and if so what is holding him back?
Mike Martz, NFL Network
He can, but there are so many other questons to answer in that offense before you try to get anybody 80 passes. I think he is a special player. -
Destra, Baltimore
6:38 PM ET
Do you think that Joe Flacco's true potential won't be reached until he gets a legitimate #1 receiver or will he do just fine with the group he has now?
Mike Martz, NFL Network
It takes for or five years for any quarterback to reach his full potential. -
Mike Martz, NFL Network
Thanks for all the great questions. I have to go get ready to go on the air for NFL Total Access.
